In Mary Poppins, Bert starts the show with the following:

Winds in the east, there's a mist coming in
Like something is brewing about to begin...

Well the east wind is blowing and like Mary Poppins, it is time for me to move on to a new place with new learning adventures.

I am leaving Beachside to become the math coach at Park Ridge Elementary. I am very excited about all of the opportunities that lie ahead...the school needs people that want to be life changers and I feel I am ready to do what I can to help all the children at that school want to experience what personal success feels like. I am excited to be able to continue to work with Mr. B.

In making this decision, the hardest part was letting go for my love for my drama family. We have been together, many of us, for all five years and others while we may have only met this year or last, it feels like you have been a part of my life forever.

Your children will always be in my heart and soul. The countless hours we spent singing, dancing, blocking scenes, and celebrating the completion of a great run of a show will forever keep us joined.

Please work hard to keep the Guild and drama alive at BMV. I promise I will be at all shows, while not in the front row wearing a director's shirt, I will be there in general seating, watching in awe, as I have done these past five years.

I love my drama babies, drama kids, drama mamas and papas more than you will ever be able to imagine.

I know there are many I will see one day on Broadway or on TV or movies...and I can say...I knew them when.
